Setter - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Setter to join our team on the 2nd shift, working from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, with the possibility of extending to 1 AM. This role requires flexibility to work Saturdays as well. As a Setter, you will be responsible for performing and planning mold changes, setting all process parameters to ensure the production of high-quality rubber parts for the aerospace industry.

• Implement and adhere to company policies, safety, and ergonomic standards.
• Conduct part changeovers and machine setups efficiently to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Set process parameters, including temperature, cure time, bumping, and pressure, for process approval.
• Perform light maintenance and troubleshooting for process issues.
• Regularly check molding parameters to maintain a stable production process.
• Address corrective actions for all red tags.
• Transport and prepare molds for setup, including minor repairs and de-nicking.
• Ensure all setup requirements, such as loader boards and pre-heated molds, are available.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the organization.

• General labor and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 35-50 lbs daily.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency is acceptable.
• Eager and positive attitude.
• Desire for long-term employment in manufacturing.

The facility is dedicated to producing rubber parts for the aerospace industry, utilizing injection molding machines and hot presses. It maintains a lean six sigma and highly organized environment, with everything having its place. Despite the heat generated by the machines, the facility is equipped with air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature. As an ITAR facility, strict adherence to regulations is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Santa Ana,CA.
