Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC – 1525 W W T Harris Blvd OR Irving, TX
Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension or conversion)
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years of hands-on platform development experience to design, develop, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions. This role will focus on enhancing enterprise ServiceNow applications, driving automation, and supporting integrations with other systems.
The ideal candidate has strong JavaScript and ServiceNow development expertise, holds CSA and CAD certifications, and brings experience with integrations and enterprise-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow applications and enhancements
- Lead complex initiatives and contribute to large-scale platform improvements
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including enterprise applications
- Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Drive automation initiatives using modern testing and scripting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform engineering and production support
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support ongoing enhancements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5–6+ years of ServiceNow development experience (new development + support)
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification
- ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification
- Strong JavaScript development skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Playwright or ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)
- Prior full-stack Java development experience (for integrations)
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and API development
- Exposure to Business Continuity Management (BCM) or resiliency platforms
- Experience working in large enterprise environments (financial services preferred)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Technical Environment
- ServiceNow platform (custom applications + enterprise modules)
- JavaScript (primary scripting language)
- Integration with external applications (including Java-based systems)
- Automation tools (Playwright, ATF)
- Agile/Scrum delivery model
