Primary Care - Melrose Park

The Ambulatory Service Representative promotes increased utilization of Loyola services by maintaining a customer service attitude that reflects the mission, vision and values of Loyola Medicine. The individual ensures effective clerical operations for the service area and performs all job duties under the highest customer service standards to exceed customer expectations. Always conveys a professional and positive image of Loyola Medicine during interactions with patients, families, physicians, staff members and internal departments.


this position is at multiple sites Monday through Friday for Family Medicine Ambulatory clinic.

The role of a Service Representative at Loyola Medicine is essential in promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring efficient clerical operations. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Job Responsibilities:

Greeting Patients: Welcome and assist patients as they enter the physician practice. Your warm and friendly demeanor sets a positive tone for their visit.

Phone Management: Answer office phones professionally and assist callers by scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.

Patient Registration: Efficiently check in patients, collect accurate demographic information, input data into the electronic system, and verify insurance details to ensure the patient's records are up-to-date.

Check-Out Assistance: Assist patients during the check-out process, provide guidance on referral processing, and assist with scheduling future appointments.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Education:

GED or High School level of education, required

Associate's degree, preferred.

Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of work history, required.

Training in general administration, business, healthcare, or a related field is highly preferred.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $16.49 - 24.44 an hour

Actual compensation will fall within the rangebutmay vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
