As a Service Porter, you're often the first and last person a customer sees. You keep our lot organized, our vehicles pristine, and our sales team moving efficiently. It's active, hands-on work that directly shapes the customer experience.
What You’ll Do
• Move, stage, and organize new and pre-owned vehicles on the lot to maximize presentation and visibility
• Deliver vehicles to and from service, detail, and reconditioning
• Keep the lot clean, orderly, and guest-ready at all times
• Pull vehicles for customer test drives and deliveries to support the sales team
• Fuel vehicles as needed and help maintain accurate lot inventory records
• Shuttle customers and vehicles to offsite locations when required
• Support general lot and facility upkeep
What We’re Looking For
Required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a wide variety of vehicles, including manual transmissions
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Sharp eye for detail — you notice when something on the lot looks off
Preferred
• Prior experience as a porter, valet, lot attendant, or in a dealership environment
• Familiarity with luxury or highline vehicles
Who Thrives in This Role
Our best porters are dependable, take pride in their environment, and enjoy being part of a team. You don’t need automotive experience to start — you need a good attitude, a clean license, and the drive to show up and do excellent work. We’ll teach you the rest.
This role is also a genuine entry point into the automotive industry. Many of our sales and service team members started exactly where you’d be starting.
Physical Requirements
• Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Sitting: Ability to sit for long periods, especially during computer work or sales presentations.
• Reaching and Bending: Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping to access vehicles and dealership equipment.
• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items, such as paperwork, vehicle accessories, or promotional materials.
• Driving: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive various types of vehicles.
• Fine Motor Skills: Dexterity to operate computer keyboards, phones, and other office equipment.
