Service Line Manager – Perioperative Services (RN)

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Line Manager – Perioperative Services (RN) to lead and oversee perioperative operations. This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of patient care delivery across the service line, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical practices.
The ideal candidate will drive excellence in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient experience while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision of perioperative services and staff
- Oversee clinical operations, patient care delivery, and service line performance
- Lead strategic planning, quality improvement, and financial management initiatives
- Ensure adherence to hospital standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote a patient-focused, compassionate care environment
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience
Licensure & Certification:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification at time of hire or within 1 year
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 8- and 12-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday, with potential for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50–100 pounds daily
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting
- Occasional travel (<10%)
- Exposure to communicable diseases and potential workplace hazards, including sharp instruments
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Assistant Director of Perioperative Services
