An EMA Field Service Engineer will service, maintain, and repair variable frequency drives in the field and at EMA's repair facility. This is a wonderful career opportunity for an experienced field service engineer or a beginner wishing to learn. The ideal candidate will have experience with medium voltage VFDs, but we will train a sharp beginner. We weigh interpersonal skills highly during our hiring process. Most of our field service team members have a BSET or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel is a must, our service engineers travel frequently and often with very little beforehand notice.
