Service Desk Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst contract job with a client in Erie, PA. Must hold Associate’s degree in business, MIS, CIS or related field to be considered for this role. Will provide technical support in their state-of-the-art call center. Will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, OEM software, and proprietary client software.


Rate Range: $17/hr. to $18/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


IT Service Desk Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Resolving hardware/software incidents, handling password resets, managing ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and ensuring high customer satisfaction (CSAT) via phone, email, or chat.
  • Troubleshoot Windows/iOS/Android systems, support VPN/remote work, and escalate complex issues.
  • Triaging, diagnosing, and resolving Level 1/L1.5 technical incidents and service requests.
  • Customer Support: Providing professional technical assistance via phone, chat, and email, often managing high-volume, 24/7, or on-call environments.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Fixing issues with applications (MS Office, Citrix), hardware (printers, laptops), network connectivity (VPN, DHCP, DNS), and mobile devices.
  • Account Administration: Performing password resets, account unlocks, and user provisioning.
  • Documentation: Utilizing ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy) to log tickets, documenting solutions in a Knowledge Base to improve future resolution times.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business, MIS, CIS or related field is required.
  • Minimum Two years related experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems.
