The Restaurant Lead is responsible primarily for taking the guest's food and/or beverage orders and delivering it to their table, as wellas some supervision of other servers. This person must have exceptional communication skills as well as superior guest service abilities. This is a fast paced position with constant customer interaction. Prior serving experience preferred.

Server Lead Duties:

  • Share 86’d/unavailable items, specials, sections, and goals; remind steps of service and side-work standards.
  • Facilitate training new hires, assist in the creation/revision of training guides/SOPs, share concise, actionable notes with managers on each teammate’s next steps.
  • Keep support staff, BOH, and servers in sync; update with any shift notes for the next team. Inform management of issues as they arise. Speak on behalf of the server team.
  • Review sections and side work during server check outs.
  • Model and coach steps of service and menu/allergen fluency on the floor.
  • Drive sales with suggestive selling and pairing recommendations.
  • Assist with any high-touch guests or events.
  • Guide serving team through new SOP's and trainings.
  • Ensure weekly deep cleaning tasks are being completed to standard.
  • Assist in reporting maintenance issues.
  • Know and understand the contents of the weekly newsletter.
  • Know and understand the menu including allergens.
  • Facilitate service quizzes.

This mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower – Sienna – and 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 7,000 sq. ft. state of the art fitness center and simulator room, appropriately named the “T” Box.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of steps of service, menu details, allergens, and sales‑driving techniques
  • Proven leadership ability to train new hires, coach servers, and guide teams through SOP updates
  • Clear, professional communication skills to coordinate FOH/BOH, relay shift notes, and represent the server team
  • Operational accountability, including reviewing sections/side work, ensuring deep‑cleaning standards, and reporting maintenance issues
  • Ability to create or revise training materials, facilitate quizzes, and provide actionable performance feedback to management
