About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Senior Wealth Planner to join our wealth management team and deliver comprehensive financial planning services to clients. The Senior Wealth Planner is expected to gather and organize client data, build financial plans, develop and deliver recommendations across the full range of complexity. This individual should apply seasoned judgment to complex client situations, present sophisticated planning recommendations effectively, and serve as a resource to the firm. This individual will also play an active role in department-wide initiatives, process improvement, planning content coordination, mentoring and coaching other planning team members, and supporting efforts that advance the firm’s wealth planning capabilities and overall client experience.


Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize, and maintain client information necessary to develop financial plans, and update CRM records according to firm standards. 
  • Build and manage financial plans across the full range of complexity with little to no supervision, including initial analysis, recommendation development, presentation, and follow-up coordination. 
  • Attend client meetings and present financial plans and advanced planning concepts appropriate to client needs and case complexity. 
  • Perform complex financial, tax, and estate planning research and analysis to support client recommendations, planning deliverables, and team technical development. 
  • Review the work of other planning team members, providing guidance as needed, pursuing ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to department initiatives, process improvement, planning content, communications, software vendor coordination, and management of department processes as directed by wealth management leadership. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Typically, five to ten years of direct experience in financial planning, wealth management or related fields. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • CFP® or other advanced planning designations are required.
  • Familiarity with planning software such as MoneyGuidePro and Holistiplan, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High standards of professionalism, ethics and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written, verbal and presenting to groups.
  • Superior attention to detail and follow through, process oriented.
  • Excellent customer service talent and experience working in a fast-paced, team-based, highly professional environment.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary to be consistent with experience and potential. Range from: $140,000 to $190,000.
  • Benefits for this exempt position include an annual discretionary bonus, profit-sharing contribution, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability), personal time off (PTO) and remote workdays (RWD) paid stock market closure days, donation reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, Costco membership and paid monthly parking.
