Senior Video/Motion Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead post-production editing for a variety of content types, including narrative pieces, energetic promotional edits, and social-first campaigns.
• Deliver high-quality edits on tight timelines for digital and social channels.
• Turn creative ideas into compelling visual narratives.
• Develop edits with a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and audience engagement.
• Integrate motion graphics and animation to strengthen storytelling and enhance production value.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative concept development.
• Build presentation decks and communicate creative ideas effectively to stakeholders.
• Manage projects from initial concept through final execution independently.
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and high production standards across all deliverables.
• Support and elevate the overall creative quality of the team’s output.

Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, or content production, ideally within an agency or in-house creative team.
• Background producing content across brand, digital, and social platforms.
• A strong portfolio that showcases storytelling ability, editing versatility, and dynamic pacing across formats.

Skills

• Deep understanding of editing rhythm, pacing, and audience retention.
• Advanced proficiency with editing and motion software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
• Experience incorporating animation and motion graphics into content.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to bring ideas to life visually.
• Excellent presentation and deck creation abilities.
• Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines.
