Senior Vice President – OPWDD Residential Services

Full Time

Salary: $140K - $150K/yr

Reporting to the Chief Clinical and Housing Officer, the Senior Vice President, OPWDD Residential Services, provides strategic and operational leadership for the residential division, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services that support people in achieving their goals and maximizing quality of life. You will also be responsible for regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and fiscal stewardship.


Specifically, you will:

  • Partner with the Chief Housing and Clinical Officer to develop, implement, and evaluate strategic initiatives, program goals, and service delivery outcomes for Residential Services.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, performance management, and professional development for assigned staff, ensuring training, compliance, and accountability standards are met.
  • Oversee residential program operations, staffing models, and budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centered services through appropriate supervision, regulatory compliance, timely documentation, and adherence to agency policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, community partners, legislators, and other stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and support program growth and effectiveness.
  • Provide operational support and crisis management including emergency response, staffing challenges, program development activities, and continuity of services.


We require:

  • Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in health and human services
  • 5+ years supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Deep knowledge of OPWDD and DOH regulations, Medicaid waiver services, and managed care
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills
  • A genuine passion for advocacy and person-centered care
