Senior UX Content Writer

What you’ll achieve

You will lead content strategy and writing for high‑visibility programs, shaping the information architecture, voice and tone, and messaging frameworks that power our digital experiences. You’ll translate journey insights into precise, task‑oriented microcopy (e.g., CTAs, error states, empty states, help content) and narrative content (e.g., onboarding, lifecycle communications). Your work will reduce friction, increase task success, and improve adoption and satisfaction.

You will

  • Lead content strategy across complex user journeys defining messaging architecture and content patterns that scale

  • Write and edit content for all communications channels (Email, SMS, Chatbots, and Social)

  • Translate technical concepts into concise, user‑centered language; ensure clarity, accuracy, and legal/compliance alignment

  • Partner with journey designers and UX researchers to validate content through testing (A/B, usability, concept tests) and iterate based on data and feedback

  • Establish and evolve content standards (voice, tone, terminology, glossaries, style guides) and contribute to Design System content patterns

Essential requirements

  • 8–10+ years in UX writing, content design, or product content strategy within product‑led or enterprise environments

  • Portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end content work across complex flows and multiple channels, with measurable outcomes (task success, conversion, deflection, activation)

  • Mastery of plain language, information hierarchy, and microcopy for decision clarity (labels, CTAs, error handling, progressive disclosure)

  • Experience collaborating within Figma and design systems; fluency with Jira/Confluence

  • Demonstrated ability to work with constraints (legal, compliance, regionalization, accessibility) while preserving clarity and UX quality

Desirable requirements

  • Experience in B2B or subscription/SaaS journeys (quote‑to‑cash, provisioning, entitlement, renewal, support) cd

  • Experience in research collaboration (writing test prompts, assessing findings) and data literacy inform content decisions

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position:$153,000 to $198,100
