A well-established and highly respected top-tier law firm is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney with extensive experience to join its Sugar Land, Texas office. This Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney role offers the opportunity to lead complex litigation matters involving probate disputes, fiduciary conflicts, and elder law issues.
This position is ideal for a seasoned attorney with strong courtroom experience and a passion for advising clients on sensitive and high-stakes estate matters. The firm provides a collaborative environment, significant leadership opportunities, and the ability to develop and expand a practice. A partial portable book of business is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent senior citizens and families in financial elder abuse litigation matters.
• Handle trust and probate litigation for trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries.
• Litigate disputes involving lack of capacity, undue influence, fraud, and fiduciary misconduct.
• Manage cases involving negligent asset management and inadequate fiduciary accounting.
• Resolve co-trustee disputes, removal actions, and surcharge claims.
• Address breaches of fiduciary duty, including self-dealing and lack of impartiality.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior attorneys and litigation teams.

Qualifications
• Minimum 9+ years of experience as a Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney or Probate Litigation Attorney.
• Active Texas Bar membership required (TX Bar required).
• Extensive experience in trusts and estates litigation, including probate disputes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and client relationships.
• Excellent reputation for professionalism, integrity, and collegiality.
• Partial portable book of business preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
