Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end Functional Testing and Automation Testing for applications within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing for web, API, and enterprise applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
- Validate business processes related to policy administration, claims, underwriting, and billing.
- Support regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Functional Testing and Test Automation.
- Hands-on expertise with Katalon Studio.
- Mandatory experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Experience with API testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation testing.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
