Grundlegende Verantwortlichkeiten
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the procurement of cast and forged parts in various material grades as well as steel structures.
- You manage the sourcing of raw parts and machined components based on our manufacturing drawings.
- You are actively involved in collaboration with our Global Supply Chain and work to optimize intercompany business.
- Within this scope, you are responsible for placing orders, entering order confirmations, and coordinating delivery schedules.
- You ensure the best possible fulfillment of purchasing requirements by optimizing your supplier processes.
- As part of your role, you continuously improve the procurement strategy to meet scheduling, budget, and quality standards.
- You prepare supplier quotation comparisons to support decision-making and conduct active risk management for high-value procurement projects.
- You regularly conduct supplier meetings and evaluations as part of supplier management.
- You independently monitor contracts and handle any contractual issues that arise.
Positionsanforderungen
Your Profile:
- You have completed commercial training with several years of professional experience or hold a technical degree or comparable qualification, and have already gained several years of experience in materials management within plant and mechanical engineering or a similar environment.
- You can easily interpret technical drawings and derive the necessary insights for procurement.
- With your strong communication skills, you are able to negotiate effectively and convince external suppliers.
- You possess strong analytical skills, complemented by a pragmatic approach and assertiveness.
- You are used to working independently and results-oriented, while also demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- You are familiar with ERP systems.
- You have good command of English, both written and spoken.
