Most firms offer flexibility.
This one actually lets you choose.
Fully remote. Hybrid. In the office every day if that’s your thing. There’s no policy being pushed on you, it’s built around how you work best.
And it works, because the culture here is built on trust, not control.
I placed a Tax Senior into this firm last year, and the feedback has been consistently strong. Not just at the start, but months in. The balance, the people, the clients. It all lines up.
The story behind the firm matters too.
40 years ago, the founding Partner left a firm where 70+ hour weeks were the norm. He was missing weekends, family time, and anything outside of work. So he built something different.
That philosophy is still here today. No burnout, no unnecessary pressure, just good work with good clients.
The Firm
Boutique in size, around 20 people and $2M in revenue, but growing in a considered way.
There’s strong admin support locally, plus a team handling production work, which means your time is spent where it actually adds value, with clients, on strategy, and on relationships.
The Culture
Close knit, low ego, and collaborative. People help each other out, get the work done, and then switch off.
Busy season sits around 50 hours. Not 70. Not open ended. Once the work is done, you’re done.
It’s professional, but relaxed. You don’t have to be someone you’re not to fit in here.
The Opportunity
This is a Senior Manager role. But more than that, it’s a role for someone who enjoys the client side of the job.
You won’t be hidden behind the scenes. You’ll be the person clients trust, rely on, and come to for advice.
The kind of relationships where you’re not just preparing returns, you’re helping shape decisions.
The Work
The client base is made up of entrepreneurs, developers, and business owners who expect more than basic compliance.
You’ll be managing your own client portfolio end to end, acting as the main point of contact for clients.
This is where strong client relationships really matter. They want someone who can build trust, communicate clearly, and be the face of the firm.

· Strong technical experience across Partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and Individuals
· Proven ability to manage and build client relationships
· Comfortable leading client conversations and advising directly
· Experience reviewing work and mentoring others
· CCH Axcess is a plus, but not essential.
What you’ll get
