The job duties of the Sr. SystemsAdministrator are as follows:

• Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.

• Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.

• Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.

• Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.

• Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior SystemsAdministrator personnel.

• Develops andmaintainsinstallation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.

• Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.

• Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.

• Ensuresproper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.

• Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, andDomain Controllers.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.

• Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level VirtualInfrastructures.

• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.

• Security + Certified;Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred)

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in a field applicable to this work

• US Citizenship Required

• TS/SCI with Polygraph

Desired Qualifications

• Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.

• Satellite server administration.

• Ansible playbook writing.

• Implementing STIGs.

• Experience supportinga softwareconfiguration management and development environment

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
