About the Role
Trossen Robotics is seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Supervisor to lead and scale our inbound supply chain operations. This role will oversee procurement operations, inventory coordination, inbound logistics, supplier management, receiving operations, and material flow across the organization. This individual will serve as the primary operational owner of the inbound supply chain function and play a critical role in supporting production scalability, inventory accuracy, procurement discipline, and operational continuity as the company continues to grow rapidly in the robotics and Physical AI industry. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manufacturing supply chains, procurement operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination within a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Procurement Management
- Oversee day-to-day procurement and purchasing operations
- Manage supplier relationships, vendor communications, and procurement escalations
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor development efforts
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery reliability
- Coordinate purchasing priorities based on production demand and operational requirements
- Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities within procurement operations
Inventory & Material Flow Oversight
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle count programs, and inventory reconciliation processes
- Monitor material availability to support production schedules and operational continuity
- Coordinate shortage management and material prioritization
- Ensure accurate ERP/MRP inventory transactions and inventory discipline
- Improve material flow and inventory organization across operational areas
Inbound Logistics & Receiving Operations
- Manage inbound freight coordination, shipment tracking, and receiving operations
- Coordinate with freight carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Resolve shipping delays, logistics escalations, and receiving discrepancies
- Support international and domestic inbound logistics activities
- Improve inbound visibility and material delivery coordination
Operational Coordination
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Inventory, Finance, and Operations teams
- Support manufacturing planning and operational readiness
- Help develop scalable supply chain processes and operational standards
- Assist with KPI reporting and operational performance tracking
- Support implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide leadership and direction to inventory and procurement support personnel
- Help establish accountability, structure, and process discipline within the department
- Support training and development of team members
- Create clearer operational ownership across procurement, inventory, and logistics functions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory management, or manufacturing operations
- Experience managing procurement and inbound logistics operations in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight providers, and cross-functional operational teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong operational ownership mindset and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience in robotics, electronics, electromechanical manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Experience with inventory forecasting, shortage management, and material planning
- Supervisory or leadership experience within supply chain or manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
Pay range and compensation package
Full-Time
Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Arrangement: On-Site
