The leading Charter School general contractor and developer in the Southeast is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead ground-up K-12 charter school projects in Nashville and surrounding markets. Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
- Communicate with project managers to ensure alignment on budget, schedule, and project goals
- Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Lead weekly site meetings and provide regular project updates
- Track daily progress and maintain accurate field reports and documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues or delays
- Ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and stored properly
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Experience managing ground-up K-12, charter school, or institutional projects is a bonus!
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
