Senior AI Architect

Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Onsite 4 days/week)

Type: Contract-to-Hire or Full-Time

We are partnering with an established retail organization seeking a Senior AI Architect to help drive the next phase of enterprise AI adoption and innovation.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on designing and implementing AI-powered solutions, agentic workflows, and enterprise integrations. The position will serve as the primary technical partner to the Director of AI and help scale engineering capabilities across the organization. You will be coaching, leading and training the team.

Key Requirements:

• AI Technical Lead
• Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude (required)
• Proven experience building and deploying enterprise AI/LLM solutions
• Azure experience preferred
• Strong background in AI orchestration, agentic systems, RAG, and workflow automation
• Python, TypeScript, APIs, and cloud-native architecture experience (Azure preferred)
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams of approximately 3–10 engineers
• Comfortable operating as a player-coach, balancing hands-on technical execution with team leadership
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders to identify and deliver high-impact AI opportunities
• Prior experience in retail, fashion, apparel, consumer products, or similar industries strongly preferred
