What you'll be able to do:
Senior Software Engineer - Technical Anchor / AI ML - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and products to meet customer needs. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements. Develop all software components including user interface and server side. Design, build, and maintain data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately. Develop intelligent programs, cognitive applications for data analysis and automation, leveraging various AI techniques such as generative AI and natural language processing. Lead development efforts as technical anchor for Quality AI, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance. Champion Agile methodologies and build and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Terraform. Provide technical guidance, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative environment. Work closely with designers and product owners to ensure alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
