💻 Senior/Staff Software Engineer
📋 AI-Powered Financial Platform for Healthcare
📍 Hybrid in NYC (3 days onsite)
💸 $200K - $250K + Equity
We’re working with a fast-growing Series A healthtech company on a mission to fix one of the most broken systems in healthcare - the financial infrastructure that keeps practices running. Each year, medical practices lose over $100B in uncollected revenue due to fragmented data, manual workflows, and payer complexity.
This team is building an AI-driven financial operating system that empowers providers to take control of their business performance. They’ve just raised a new round from top-tier investors (including notable tech founders) and are now hiring a Fullstack Engineer to help shape their core product experience and define the next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build intuitive, responsive web interfaces that make complex financial data simple and actionable
- Work across the full stack (React frontend, FastAPI backend) to deliver end-to-end features quickly and iteratively
- Develop key product areas including dashboards, analytics visualizations, workflow tools, and AI-assisted interfaces
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and customers to deeply understand user needs
- Improve and expand the design system, component library, and frontend architecture
- Partner with backend engineers to design clean APIs and data models that enable great UX
- Help shape the product vision, engineering culture, and technical roadmap as an early team member
Requirements:
- 3+ years of fullstack or frontend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript, and a passion for creating polished, responsive user experiences
- Backend experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
- Understanding of frontend architecture, design principles, and modern web application patterns
- Strong product mindset — you care about solving user problems just as much as building elegant code
- Bonus: Experience with healthcare or financial data
- High ownership, collaborative attitude, and comfort in fast-paced, startup environments
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team tackling one of healthcare’s toughest challenges, where your work will have a direct impact on how thousands of providers manage their businesses and care for patients.
