Responsibilities

EFMIT has an opportunity for anEngineer 2, Software (.NET)thatis responsible fordesigning and developing prototypes as well as performing complicated application coding and programming. This position interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/ormodifytechnical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications.TheEngineer 2positionanalyzes and reviews software requirements todeterminefeasibility of a design within time and cost restraints. In addition, this position performs unit and integration testing andassistswith developing unit test scripts.This individualmay provide instruction,guidanceand mentoring to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • Must have3+ yearsofenterprise applications developmentexperience
  • Experience with the following technologies: C#, LINQ, Entity Framework,ADO.Net,ASP.Net, SPA, JSON, IIS, SQL Server, SSIS, VB Script, OOD/OOP
  • Experience with front end design and development with languages such as JavaScript, jQuery,AngularJSand HTML
  • Experience with unit testingandbuildingscripts
  • Experience withrelational database platforms
  • Experience with the use of version control systems for code management
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: MS Access, VBA, Excel, Cloud (AWS/Azure),MSTest, Jasmine, Karma, PowerShell, Python, REACT, Typescript,Vitest, and Co-Pilot
  • Experience with an Agile/Kanban/Scrum development process is a plus but notrequired.
  • Understanding of SOA is preferred
  • Experience with the Atlassian Toolset
