Senior Site Reliability Engineer | Azure

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND DAY-TO-DAY:

The person hired for this role will bring a strong background as a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer and will lead reliability, automation, and production operations across an Azure platform. This role focuses on building scalable, resilient infrastructure, driving CI/CD and IaC best practices, improving observability and performance, and partnering closely with engineering teams to embed reliability and security into everything we ship.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering with hands-on Azure distributed systems experience.
• Designed, deployed, and operated highly available, fault-tolerant architectures; stabilized and modernized legacy applications.
• Strong expertise in Azure services (App Service, Functions, AKS, SQL Database, Storage), networking, identity, and security (VNet, Entra ID, Key Vault).
• Deep experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and reliability engineering (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets).
• Skilled in observability and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights), caching (Redis), and database administration (PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
• Familiar with cloud governance, compliance, modern data architectures (Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse), and edge networking/CDN/WAF via Cloudflare.

LOCATION

Our client is based in the Englewood area. They believe deeply in close collaboration, and as such they are looking for candidates who are willing to be on-site 5 days a week, most weeks ... (with flexibility as-needed for family stuff, contractors, doctors, etc)

SALARY / DURATION

Our client is looking for a hire who can support them ON SITE. The budgeted salary is in the the $155K - $180K range.
