It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master who will be a key driver to make this happen.

We are seeking an energetic Senior Scrum Master with AgileSAFeexperience tofacilitateand guide teams to deliver high-quality products thatmeetsuser needs. You willinterface withProduct Owners and RTE/Delivery leads to ensureSAFemethodologies are followed for project execution. You will be working on a mission critical software program whose goal is toconsolidate, modernize, and enhancea suite of applicationsthatsupportsMedicaid.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)methodologyand work closely with the release train engineer (RTE), product owner, scrum team, and other stakeholders such as product end users

  • Guide teams to deliver high-quality products, improve team efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Work with teams toidentifyand remove impediments that may hinder their progress

  • Track and monitor team performance metrics, such asvelocity,burn-down charts, to ensureoptimalproductivity.

  • Provider regular reports on team performance, risks,successesand failures to the program leadership team

  • Facilitate PI planning events and working session meetings to discuss scope,scheduleand requirements with product owners

  • Help the Product Owner with prioritization, risk management, and scope

  • Manage product quality, releases, and delivery

  • Manage lightweight, living planning documents, like an Agile Product Roadmap

  • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum ofsix(6)years experienceas a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software development team.

  • Must be able to obtain andmaintaina publictrust clearance

  • Candidate mustresidein the US,be authorized towork in the US, and work must be performed in the US

  • Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor similar field

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Hands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, different organizations,different cultures, co-located vs. distributed,etc)

  • Track recordof continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) preferred

  • Knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban

  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, ContinuousDelivery ,Automated Testing

  • Expertisewith JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite

  • Experience using JIRA's Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of Human Centered Design approach for developing digital services

Professional Skills:

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$98,614.00 - $167,644.00
