They are currently seeking a Senior Scientist to focus on formulation of their lubricant products, interfacing with customers directly to develop and adjust unique solutions in a range of exciting industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Industrial fluids/grease formulation for the Americas
- Take responsibility for formulation development and commercial use of high performance grease/fluids
- Provide support and interact with customers on product development and use
- Represent the organization at industry events, maintaining knowledge and engaging with sector experts to increase knowledge and represent the brand
- Lead a zero-incident safety culture in the Lab
- Own technical content - information sheets, application guidance
- Identify new technologies and lead product development to hold place in market
- Mentor interns and junior members of staff
Required Education and Experience
- PhD/Doctorate in Chemistry highly desirable
- Strong formulation experience required - ideally 3+ years commercial experience
- Industrial fluids, grease or lubricant experience desirable - not essential
