SKILLS REQUIRED:
Primary (Must-Have):
�8+ years of core SAP FICO experience with deep specialization in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Banking modules
�Hands-on expertise configuring Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing (MT940/CAMT formats) and search strings for automated clearing
�Strong configuration experience in Lockbox processing, cash application automation, and automatic/manual customer clearing
�Proven experience managing cross-module integrations, specifically FI-SD and FI-MM touchpoints
�Full lifecycle implementation or support experience within an SAP S/4HANA environment
Secondary (Good to Have):
�Functional familiarity with Controlling (CO) sub-modules: Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing
�Experience with SAP Credit, Collections, or Dispute Management
�Background managing bank communication interfaces or middleware file-transfer systems
�Active SAP Certified Application Associate credential (Financial Accounting or S/4HANA Finance)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Elite Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with 8–12 years of enterprise experience to join our financial systems engineering team in a hybrid capacity out of Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses heavily on the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) architectures. The ideal candidate will orchestrate automation frameworks for cash application, lockbox processing, and bank reconciliation—directly improving corporate cash flow visibility, straight-through transactional clearing, and closing speed.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
�Configure, enhance, and maintain SAP S/4HANA EBS architectures, building custom search strings and parsing MT940/CAMT file formats to drive cash application automation.
�Design and execute end-to-end configuration rules for automated lockbox systems, customer account clearing, direct debit runs, and mandate management workflows.
�Drive operational precision by diagnosing and resolving complex EBS integration exceptions, tracking unmatched ledger items, and reconciling statements against sub-ledger records.
�Develop detailed functional specifications, build comprehensive data-mapping blueprints, and collaborate with technical ABAP or middleware teams to deliver custom technical solutions.
�Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, providing hypercare and escalation tier-3 production support for critical accounting periods.
�Support secondary core Controlling (CO) functions as needed, aligning profit center structures, cost center allocations, and material valuation configurations with global accounting policies.
