Senior ERP/SAP Analytics Cloud Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL - Can work remotely, but need to attend meetings every month. No expenses will be paid.
Duration: Direct-Hire/PERM
Candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA area
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This position serves as the technical and functional backbone for SAP-based financial and margin planning systems
- The analyst develops and maintains SAC stories, manages master data integrity, and partners with Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver analytical outputs that drive business decisions
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and support financial and margin planning systems using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Develop and maintain SAC stories, reports, and dashboards for planning and decision-making
- Validate data, manage master data integrity, and maintain integration points across SAP and non-SAP modules
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations leadership to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Lead root cause analysis on production issues; document, resolve, and prevent recurrence
- Coordinate with and provide direction to external SAP consultants
- Provide strategic input on ERP modernization and technology advancements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 8–10 years of experience in financial planning, FP&A, or a related analytical role
- Hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience — story development, data modeling, and planning functionality
- Proficiency with databases, SQL, and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Business Objects, or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with both finance and executive stakeholders
Preferred:
• Margin planning experience
• SAC certification
• Experience coordinating with external SAP consultants
