Job Summary

Rockwoods is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to architect, build, and deploy high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to create integrations and automations that provide measurable business impact. This role involves shaping architectural standards, establishing development protocols, and providing technical guidance to junior staff within an Agile framework.


Core Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Lead the creation of robust Salesforce applications using Apex and LWC while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Backend Development: Engineer efficient Apex triggers and classes that respect platform limits and utilize object-oriented principles.
  • Systems Integration: Build seamless connections between Salesforce and external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware like MuleSoft.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce high-caliber coding standards and data governance to ensure reusable and maintainable software.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the full SDLC by utilizing CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git or Copado.
  • Technical Leadership: Perform security assessments and code reviews while mentoring mid-level and junior developers.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with Product Owners and Analysts to deploy features that meet organizational priorities and support UAT.
  • System Health: Diagnose and fix production bottlenecks to maintain platform stability and scalability.
  • Documentation: Produce clear technical blueprints, integration maps, and architectural documentation.
  • Innovation: Monitor Salesforce ecosystem updates and industry trends to identify opportunities for platform enhancement.


Qualifications Required

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering (Apex, LWC, Batch, and Async processing).
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II.
  • Proven expertise in API integrations and event-driven architectures (Platform Events, CDC).
  • Experience with trigger frameworks and advanced enterprise design patterns (Service Layer, Unit of Work).
  • Proficiency in DevOps workflows, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong command of SOQL/SOSL and modern JavaScript (ES6+).


Preferred

  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud or Experience Cloud.
  • Knowledge of automated testing and code quality suites.
  • Additional Credentials: Salesforce AI Specialist, Integration Architect, or MuleSoft Developer certifications.
