Senior Salesforce Administrator

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to own and evolve a Salesforce ecosystem that supports multiple business functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems at scale, partnering closely with business leaders, and designing solutions that balance usability, governance, and long-term scalability. The individual will act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and help drive continuous improvement across the Salesforce platform.


Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead administrator for Salesforce environments supporting sales and customer support teams
  • Build and maintain automation using Flow and other declarative tools to streamline business processes
  • Configure page layouts, custom objects, fields, validation rules, and other core platform features
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards that enable insight-driven decision-making
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and deliver enhancements end to end
  • Ensure strong data quality standards and enforce platform governance best practices
  • Administer users, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings
  • Manage platform upgrades and release activities, including testing, documentation, and communications
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues while providing timely support to end users
  • Monitor Salesforce product updates and recommend new features or optimizations proactively


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Deep experience supporting Sales-focused and service-oriented Salesforce environments
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining complex Flows and automation
  • Proven ability to create meaningful dashboards and reports for different business audiences
  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to field service management solutions
  • Familiarity with guided data collection or dynamic form tools
  • Experience supporting quoting, pricing, or revenue-related Salesforce capabilities


Work Location & Travel

This role is based in Austin, Texas. The position will begin remotely, with an expectation of transitioning to a hybrid schedule (approximately three days onsite) in the future. Occasional travel (up to 15%) may be required for internal meetings, partner engagements, audits, or industry events. Residency restrictions may apply based on local regulations.
