Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Sales Executive position based in River Grove, IL. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and expanding the client base, building strong customer relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies for the brokerage division.

Additional responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing tailored proposals, negotiating contracts, managing customer relationships, and consistently achieving sales goals. This role requires collaboration with operations, pricing, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient execution.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in freight transportation, logistics, or brokerage
  • Transferable book of business preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of success in brokerage sales
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Experience with market analysis and sales strategy development
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
  • Experience with sales forecasting and achieving performance metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Self motivated, results driven, and adaptable in a fast paced environment


Schedule
  • Full-time position
  • On-site or hybrid schedule available based on experience and performance
  • Candidates should be prepared to work primarily from our River Grove, IL office
