GPS is recruiting on behalf of a top rated MGU and Reinsurance Intermediary. They seek to hire a Senior Reinsurance Underwriter to manage the negotiation and placement of several large, self-insured clients and risk pools. This includes P&C and Work Comp lines and working with London-based carriers for placement. In this role, you will:
- Manage the renewal process for self-insureds and risk pools
- Develop proposals and the data required by the insureds
- Be the point of contact for clients and manage relationships with both clients and carriers
- Maintain compliance
- Collaborate with senior management to oversee processes, procedures and internal operations
- Lead a small team of policy administrators
To be qualified, you must have:
- 8+ years of P&C reinsurance underwriting experience
- Some supervisory or management experience
- Bachelor’s degree and industry designations are preferred
