About the Position
The Senior Regional Construction Scheduler is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring schedule integrity and performance across a portfolio of complex public works and educational facility projects. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, providing oversight, analysis, and strategic guidance across program and project schedules.
Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines technical scheduling expertise with team leadership, executive reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing contractor baseline and update schedules using Primavera P6
- Identifying critical path impacts, schedule slippage, and risk factors across multiple projects
- Performing Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using Windows Analysis methodologies
- Evaluating entitlement for time extensions based on contract terms and project conditions
- Developing and maintaining program-level and master schedules
- Ensuring consistency in schedule coding, logic, and reporting standards
- Providing detailed written schedule review comments and executive-level reporting
- Supervising and mentoring Project Schedulers
- Collaborating with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and field teams to address schedule issues
- Attending project meetings and conducting site visits to validate progress and schedule accuracy
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of construction scheduling experience for an owner or general contractor
- Strong background in public works or educational facility construction projects
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
OR - Bachelor’s degree in any field with an additional 2 years of relevant scheduling experience
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, cost engineering, and schedule forensics
- Ability to interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, etc.)
