ABOUT THE R
OLE:Newhaven Display is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support product quality, supplier quality, customer quality issues, and continuous improvement initiatives across our display product portfo
lio.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role that combines technical troubleshooting, failure analysis, supplier management, and quality system support. You will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Production, customers, and suppliers to investigate product issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive improvements that enhance product quality and customer satisfac
tion.
The ideal candidate has experience working with electronic assemblies, PCBAs, electromechanical products, or similar technologies and is comfortable moving between the lab, production floor, supplier discussions, and customer communica
tions.

U'LL DOProduct Quality & Failure A
- nalysisInvestigate customer returns, RMAs, and product fa
- ilures.Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on display modules, PCBAs, electronic assemblies, and related comp
- onents.Work closely with Engineering to identify corrective and preventive a
- ctions.Analyze quality trends and identify opportunities to improve product performance and relia
- bility.Support product qualification, validation, and reliability testing acti
vities.
Supplier
- QualityLead Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and supplier investi
- gations.Work directly with international suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve perf
- ormance.Monitor supplier quality metrics and drive continuous improvement init
- iatives.Evaluate supplier processes and capabilities as
needed.
Manufacturing & Proces
- s QualitySupport incoming inspection, manufacturing quality, and process improvement ini
- tiatives.Develop and maintain inspection procedures, test methods, work instructions, and quality docum
- entation.Partner with Production and Engineering to reduce defects, improve yields, and strengthen quality
- controls.Participate in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product improvement
efforts.
Compliance & Quali
- ty SystemsMaintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, including RoHS, REACH, and Conflict
- Minerals.Support quality audits, documentation control, and quality management system a
- ctivities.Track and analyze quality KPIs and present findings and recommendations to m
anagement.

- lificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related techn
- ical field.5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Product Quality, or a re
- lated role.Experience troubleshooting electronic products, PCBAs, electromechanical assemblies, or similar technologies to the compo
- nent level.Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing correcti
- ve actions.Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve qual
- ity issues.Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical doc
- umentation.Strong written and verbal communicat
- ion skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particul
arly Excel.
