Senior Project Scheduler — Aviation Infrastructure (Primavera P6)

Francison Consulting, Inc.
Los Angeles, CA

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Franciscon Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Scheduler to join our team supporting the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Terminal Development & Improvement Program (TDIP) at LAX. This is a high-visibility, owner-representative role embedded in one of the largest active airport capital programs in the country — covering Airline Terminal Improvement, Airport Service Improvement, Terminal Development, and Asset Renewal projects.

You'll work alongside project managers, construction managers, and claims staff to develop and maintain complex multi-project schedules, perform forensic delay analyses, and help protect the owner's interests on $100M+ construction contracts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation projects across the TDIP portfolio
  • Review and independently analyze contractor- and designer-submitted schedules (baseline, preliminary, 4-week look-aheads, monthly updates, as-builts)
  • Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and forensic schedule analysis per AACE RP 29 to assess delay claims and owner liabilities
  • Support change order negotiations and claims disputes — prepare findings and present to owner, legal, and third-party audiences
  • Identify schedule risks, interdependencies, and interface issues across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure all schedule submittals comply with LAWA code and activity code structures
  • Develop KPIs and reporting materials that communicate complex sequencing to both technical and executive audiences
  • Collaborate with the TDIP Program Scheduler and broader controls team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of construction scheduling experience, with 5+ years supporting active, multi-project construction programs
  • Direct forensic scheduling experience on projects of $200M+ value and 3+ years duration, specifically for delay claims and owner liability assessment
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (v6.0 or higher); experience with Schedule Analyzer, Claims Digger, and Microsoft Project is a plus
  • Familiarity with multiple delivery methods: Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to present complex findings to non-expert audiences
  • Experience representing owner interests (not just contractor-side scheduling)
  • Prior experience on aviation, transportation, or large public infrastructure programs is highly desirable

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (required)
  • Professional licensure or relevant certifications (PSP, PMI-SP, CCM, PE) strongly preferred
