Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: OAKBROOK TERRACE 60181 (3 days onsite - Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Temp-to-Perm)

Job Description:

Seeking a Project Manager with hands-on experience supporting Transmission & Substation projects, including a working understanding of substation and transmission equipment, outage coordination, and construction/commissioning sequencing.

• Core Technical Understanding of T&S Equipment
• Outage & System Operations Awareness
• Construction & Commissioning Sequence Knowledge

Candidate MUST Haves:

• Project Manager must demonstrate working knowledge of transmission and substation equipment sufficient to manage engineering, construction, outage coordination, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Candidate must be able to interpret one-lines, understand equipment function and interfaces, anticipate outage and commissioning risks, and communicate effectively with engineering, construction, and system operations teams.

Education Level/Type:

• STEM degrees (technical in nature) however, experience can complement an arts degree

Specific Technical/Software Experience:

• Utility project management experience; specifically, substation or transmission experience.

Years of Experience Required:

• 7+

Specific project/projects contractor would be working on:

• Transmission level Protection and Control replacement projects and/or Transmission line projects.
