Senior Project Manager – Construction Management

We are representing a highly respected, Long Island–based construction management and development firm with a proven track record delivering complex, high-value projects across the Tri-State area.
With over 50 years of industry experience, the business has evolved into a full-service platform spanning construction management, general contracting, and real estate development, delivering projects from concept through completion.
Their portfolio includes industrial, multifamily, healthcare, education, commercial, and hospitality projects, with a track record of delivering hundreds of ground-up builds and billions in construction value.
This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact developments within a company known for its relationship-driven approach, transparency, and consistent delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery across all phases
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning
- Maintain a strong on-site presence across Long Island and NYC projects
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Prepare scopes of work and manage subcontractor procurement
- Negotiate contracts and drive strong commercial outcomes
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Ensure adherence to all health & safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Track project performance and deliver detailed reporting
- Oversee requisitions, cost tracking, and financial management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within construction
- Strong experience delivering projects in the Long Island and/or NYC markets
- Background across ground-up and complex commercial or multifamily projects preferred
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoDesk Build preferred
- PMP certification (preferred)
- OSHA certification required
