Tinker Tin is a 14-year, founder-led design and manufacturing company that builds custom retail displays, fixtures, and store environments for big-box brands like Boot Barn. We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to own projects from the moment design hands off, through engineering and production in our Mexico City facility, all the way to delivery on the store floor. Lean team, real autonomy, and a clear path into operations leadership.

• The full project lifecycle after design handoff: engineering, production with our Mexico City team, and delivery to client stores.
• 2 to 5 clients and projects at a time. In year one, roughly 60% project delivery (largely the Boot Barn store program), 20% new projects, and 20% process improvement.
• Coordination with general contractors and client project managers: pick tickets, bills of materials, delivery timelines, and the daily problem-solving that keeps installs on track.
• Keeping projects on time, on budget, and on quality across design, engineering, the shop floor, the warehouse, and the Mexico City facility.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿
• 3 to 6 years in project or program management. We care more about how you think than your exact title, and we will train the industry.
• A track record at a small, agile company where you wore many hats and solved problems on your own.
• Experience in a genuinely custom, build-to-order world: retail displays or fixtures (ideal), or custom construction like custom homes or hotels.
• Smart, driven, organized, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator with clients and an internal team.
• Comfortable on a manufacturing floor and in the details. This is a hands-on, do-the-work role.

• On-site in Vista, CA, 4 days a week with Fridays remote.
