Senior Project Manager (8486)

Overview:

Our client, a well-established architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead transformative projects from concept through completion while mentoring and developing the next generation of project managers. With 10+ years of experience, this role drives design excellence, team performance, and the successful delivery of complex initiatives. The ideal candidate excels at orchestrating multifaceted projects, building lasting client relationships, and bringing both technical mastery and creative vision to every challenge. More than just an experienced practitioner, we are seeking a collaborative leader who is passionate about shaping the firm’s future and making meaningful contributions to the communities we serve. This full-time position is located in Kalispell, MT.

Responsibilities:

• Drive excellence in design and leadership.
• Engage innovative projects that shape our communities while leading high-performing teams to new heights.
• Independently supervise Project teams through all phases of project execution, including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the design and technical aspects of projects while overseeing internal budgets, drafting fee proposals, conducting earned-value analysis, managing invoicing, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and successful budget execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within scope.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering, and 10+ years of professional experience in the building industry.
• Licensure in Architecture, Engineering (NCARB or PE), and/or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding organization, attentiveness to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize strategically and demonstrate flexibility to achieve long-range goals.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam, with a strong understanding of how to utilize these tools for effective project management and seamless collaboration.
