About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives focused on operational boundary alignment, enterprise systems integration, and data governance within a large utility environment. This role will drive programs that improve consistency between operational structures, asset data, GIS systems, and enterprise platforms, ensuring accurate work assignment, efficient dispatching, regulatory compliance, and improved data quality across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program and project management, utility operations, enterprise systems, and stakeholder leadership. This position requires the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, navigate organizational ambiguity, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives focused on operational boundary alignment, asset data integrity, and enterprise system consistency.
- Drive end-to-end program execution including intake, prioritization, planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, GIS, Asset Management, Data Governance, and Business organizations.
- Manage projects that address discrepancies between operational processes and system representations across enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and decision-making for complex business and system-related issues.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for cross-system data conflicts, governance challenges, and operational boundary changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and compliance outcomes.
- Partner with business and technical teams to standardize processes and enhance end-to-end data flows.
- Monitor program financials, develop forecasts, analyze budget variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and program communications.
- Lead workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Electric Utility, Energy, Power, Gas Utility, or Infrastructure organizations.
- Knowledge of GIS platforms, particularly ESRI environments.
- Experience with SAP, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Asset Knowledge Management (AKM), or related enterprise systems.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and master data processes.
- Familiarity with utility operations, field service management, work management, scheduling, and dispatch processes.
- Experience leading business transformation, operational excellence, or enterprise system integration initiatives.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or related certifications are highly desirable.
