Owen Daniels is currently partnered with a leader in fire suppression technology. They are a highly reputable equipment OEM, who design and manufacture fire suppression systems for high-risk equipment and special hazard scenarios.

They are seeking Senior Engineer to take the lead on application and system design, working across product management, quality, design and customer facing teams to turn customer requirements into product and system solutions.

Job Summary

• Provides technical leadership to cross-functional and project teams, influencing design decisions.
• Support new product development from concept through launch and sustains released products.
• Lead system and application design for new and existing products.
• Provide system-level design support to Sales and Customer Support teams, including solution sizing, integration, and troubleshooting of in service issues.
• Facilitate technical design reviews ensuring safety, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure design for manufacturability, testability, and serviceability.
• Support R&D activities by evaluating new technologies, prototyping, and testing concepts to reduce technical risk.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required and Desirable Experience

• Experienced in development of fire-suppression systems, ideally within a special hazard setting – manufacturing, vehicles, power generation
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related discipline) Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in regulated and/or safety-critical product environments (e.g., UL, FM, CE, NFPA, ISO) and related compliance documentation.
