Senior Private Equity Accountant, 125K-130K, Upward Mobility (Hybrid)

LHH is working with a growing Private Equity Company that is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Private Equity Accountant to join their team. This role will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of investment funds, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in fund accounting and/or real estate investments, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate should possess solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of financial integrity.

This position pay 125K-130K+20%Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and 2 days work from home).

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for the investment funds.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and review fund transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fund documents.
• Perform fund-level expense allocations and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and distribute investor statements and reports.
• Calculate fund performance metrics and provide analysis to stakeholders.
• Monitor investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities.
• Assist in the coordination of fund audits and tax compliance.
• Prepare and review fund-level compliance reports, including regulatory filings and investor reporting requirements.
• Mentor and review the work of Fund Accountants
• Interact with clients as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years of experience in fund accounting or Public Accounting
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
