Currently we are seeking an experienced Senior Photographer to join our Creative team.


The Senior Photographer plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, high-volume product-led photography across our premium lifestyle brands Nuna Baby and Tavo Pets. This role blends technical excellence, refined creative taste, and obsessive attention to detail with a forward-thinking approach to image-making. Comfortably operating within an in-house studio environment and collaborating closely with our Producers and Global Photography Manager, this role will ensure consistency, efficiency, and elevated execution.


While product imagery is the core focus, the Senior Photographer will also contributes to brand and lifestyle imagery, supporting a range of digital deliverables including PDP assets and social content, with an opportunity for occasional on-location productions that embrace a scrappy, small-scale production approach. A genuine comfort and enthusiasm for working around children and pets is essential, as is exceptional visual taste, a strong eye for composition, lighting, and detail, and a commitment to delivering imagery that feels polished, intentional, and premium.


An interest and eagerness to expand into multimedia and video is highly valued, along with a natural curiosity for emerging trends, including AI-driven image generation and evolving content formats.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Photography & Visual Excellence

  • Own the hands-on visual execution of product photography, producing elevated imagery with exceptional creative judgement that highlights premium design, materials, and craftsmanship.
  • Maintain expert technical authority across detail, texture, color accuracy, and lineup consistency throughout the broader product catalog, ensuring every asset remains visually elevated and commercially effective.
  • Own on-set creative decision-making across composition, lighting and visual hierarchy, to ensure every asset is intentional, refined, and unmistakably on brand.
  • Exercise a discerning eye for product styling, and subtle visual enhancements that elevate an image, approaching every shoot with the goal of achieving the strongest result in-camera, minimizing reliance on post-production.
  • Bring forward creative ideas for props, wardrobe, casting, and lifestyle narrative concepts that elevate studio shoots while supporting product-first visual storytelling.


Technical Craft, & Workflow Execution

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Capture One, including tethered capture, image processing, and color-accurate workflow management.
  • Develop and refine precise lighting direction concepts and standards that emphasize materiality, texture, and dimensionality.
  • Originate and write technical guidelines to support consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate positively and effectively with internal stakeholders both on set and off, partnering closely with Producers, Product Managers, and creative team leaders to synthesize feedback and ensure aligned execution.
  • Actively seek opportunities to innovate capture techniques, processes, and workflows.
  • As the brands evolve, expand into executing product-led video capture and short-form video across website experiences and digital touchpoints.


Production Support & Logistics

  • Contribute to shot list development and support sample management throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Ingest media following shoot wrap, ensuring proper organization, file structure, and handoff.
  • Support production needs, including casting models and vendor coordination.
  • Assign Wrike tasks following shoot wrap to support post-production workflows.


Studio Operations

  • Champion day-to-day operations of the in-house studio, ensuring a clean, organized, and production-ready environment.
  • Maintain, care for, and troubleshoot photography equipment, lighting, and grip; spearhead minor repairs and ongoing studio maintenance as needed.
  • Establish best practices that improve workflow clarity, communication, and production efficiency.


Collaboration

  • Pitch creative concepts and visuals solutions that advance content evolution and support brand growth.
  • Provide support on secondary creative initiatives, including internal presentations.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATINS

Experience, Knowledge and Education

  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of commercial or editorial photography experience, including three (3) years in consumer product photography.
  • Strong command of photography studio and operational workflows.
  • Exceptional knowledge of photography principles, equipment requirements, and advanced lighting techniques to capture high-quality imagery.
  • Portfolio showcasing high-quality, product-led photography, demonstrating a blend of technical excellence and a refined creative taste in both in house and lifestyle imagery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Film/Video, Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience.

Technology

Expert proficiency in:

  • Professional DSLR cameras.
  • Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom.
  • Capture One.
  • Studio lights.
  • MS Office on a Mac OSX platform.

Working knowledge of:

  • Adobe Premiere a plus.
  • Adobe Creative Suites Illustrator, InDesign.

Familiar with:

  • Project management software, Wrike preferred.
  • Corporate travel systems, Navan preferred.
  • Contract management software; Cobblestone preferred.
  • Corporate credit card expense management software, BILL Spend & Expense preferred.
  • Payroll systems, Paycom preferred.
  • Ability to quickly and proficiently learn new software with ease.


Other

As business needs warrant:

  • Domestic & International travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to work extended hours may, on occasion, include nights and weekends.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to on occasion lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
