SKILLS REQUIRED:
Primary (Must-Have):
�10+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience with at least 7 years dedicated to FSCM modules
�Deep technical mastery of PeopleTools (8.5x+), PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and BI Publisher
�Hands-on expertise with system integration architectures, including Component Interfaces and Integration Broker (REST/SOAP services)
�Strong functional configuration knowledge across core Financial modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Project Costing
�Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex data mapping, conversion scripts, and query performance tuning
Secondary (Good to Have):
�Experience with modern PeopleSoft features such as Fluid UI, Pivot Grids, and WorkCenters
�Practical experience working with the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) for automated testing
�Baseline familiarity with infrastructure deployments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
�Understanding of financial compliance regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit guidelines and segregation of duties (SoD) internal controls
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant with over a decade of ERP engineering expertise to support critical financial applications within a premier financial services environment in New York, NY. This specialized role bridges the gap between complex financial business logic and robust backend development. Acting as a core technical pivot across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), you will own application customization, system integrations, and performance tuning across the global FSCM ecosystem to drive straight-through financial transaction processing.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
�Architect, program, and customize PeopleSoft FSCM software architectures, writing clean, optimized PeopleCode, batch Application Engines, and custom SQR scripts.
�Build, monitor, and troubleshoot secure data interfaces with internal and external trading systems using PeopleSoft Integration Broker web services (REST/SOAP).
�Translate intricate financial business processes (ledger mapping, customer contracts, billing triggers, and cash application) into scalable technical designs.
�Lead structural impact analysis, code remediation, and strategic retrofitting workflows during major PeopleTools platform upgrades and FSCM image patching cycles.
�Perform high-level database diagnostics and query optimization within Oracle SQL/PL-SQL to minimize batch window latencies and support real-time financial reporting.
�Govern delivery compliance by conducting rigorous unit and system integration testing (SIT) while maintaining clear design specifications to satisfy external SOX audit requirements.
