About the Role

Join a highly specialized engineering team developing advanced electronic hardware for mission-critical applications. This hands-on role offers direct ownership of board-level hardware design, integration, validation, and transition to production in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design PCBAs including schematic capture, component selection, and interface definition.
  • Integrate processors, sensors, and subsystem interfaces into board-level hardware designs.
  • Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and validation in a lab environment.
  • Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure signal integrity, manufacturability, and overall performance.
  • Support power management, low-voltage power distribution, and SWaP-constrained designs.
  • Assist with prototype-to-production transition, including DFM/DFT and manufacturing support.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with board-level hardware design and PCBA development.
  • Experience using Altium, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics for PCB design.
  • Strong background in board bring-up, debugging, validation, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience integrating processors, sensors, and high-speed interfaces.


Compensation:

  • Estimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2).
  • Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
