Senior Paralegal – Probate, Trusts & Commercial Litigation

Location: Remote (with firm time-zone alignment) or Hybrid (Champaign Office)

About the Role 

Rincker Law is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to support a growing practice that includes probate, guardianship, trust administration, and commercial litigation. This role is ideal for a paralegal who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing matters from intake through resolution in both estate-related and litigation contexts. 

This is a hands-on role where your work will directly support attorney efficiency and client service. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support probate, guardianship, and trust administration matters from opening through closing 
• Prepare and file court documents; manage deadlines, calendaring, and compliance requirements 
• Draft correspondence, notices, and routine pleadings under attorney supervision 
• Maintain matter organization, including pleadings lists and client communications 
• Coordinate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel as appropriate 
• Assist with commercial litigation support, including document organization, discovery coordination, and trial prep as needed 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of paralegal experience, with meaningful experience in probate/estate matters 
• Comfort working independently with minimal oversight once trained 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills 
• Litigation support experience strongly preferred 
• Experience working in a remote or fast-paced law firm environment is a plus
