2. Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Legal and Compliance team across a wide range of asset management and fund-related matters, including both registered and private funds.
  • Assist with client onboarding and ongoing client servicing, including preparation and review of legal documentation and responding to client requests.
  • Draft and review offering documents, fund supplements, registration statements, and related disclosure materials in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
  • Prepare materials for board of directors meetings and support fund governance processes.
  • Provide legal support for M&A transactions, corporate initiatives, and strategic projects.
  • Coordinate and manage U.S. regulatory filings and assist with regulatory matters impacting non-U.S. offices.
  • Support trading and investment teams by reviewing NDAs, investment documentation, and onboarding materials for counterparties.
  • Handle Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requests and assist with documentation requirements from trading counterparties and regulators.
  • Review and negotiate vendor agreements and commercial contracts.
  • Maintain and support entity management, corporate records, and organizational structure documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance legal processes, tools, and technologies, including the use of automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Provide high-level legal specialist/paralegal support on complex, cross-functional initiatives and projects.


3. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced legal education or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a law firm and/or financial services environment, preferably within asset management.
  • Strong experience drafting and reviewing offering documents and legal disclosure materials for investment products.
  • Familiarity with registered funds, private funds, and asset management regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients, external counsel, and cross-functional business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and proofreading ability.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting corporate transactions, regulatory filings, and fund operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable operating in a collaborative, high-performance environment with evolving priorities.
