Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer

Job Description
Top Priorities:
- Strong Azure networking background — this is not a multi-cloud generalist role
- Experience with hub-and-spoke architecture in Azure
- Hands-on experience with ExpressRoute (environment is already established)
- Familiarity with load balancer + firewall design patterns, specifically Palo Alto “sandwich” architecture
- Solid experience with:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Private Endpoints / Private Link
- Private DNS and integration with on-prem DNS
Nice to Have:
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure + on-prem)
- Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls
- Ability to collaborate with internal networking teams (they won’t be heavily hands-on with on-prem, but need to speak the language)
Certifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert is strongly preferred
- AWS/GCP certs are only relevant if the candidate also has strong Azure networking experience
- Traditional networking certs (CCNA/CCNP/etc.) are not a major focus
