Hiring: Senior Network Architect

Location: Onsite to Boston, MA (On-site) / NY

Job type: Full time


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure across data, wireless, voice, and security domains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect LAN, WAN, MAN, wireless, VoIP, and network security infrastructure
  • Lead deployment and management of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and load balancers
  • Support wireless networks, including 802.1x authentication and network access control
  • Manage DNS/DHCP (Infoblox), SSL certificates, and network services
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
  • Support cloud networking (AWS/Azure) with routing protocols like OSPF and BGP
  • Implement network security best practices (DMZ, IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAC)
  • Collaborate across teams and provide technical leadership and project ownership
  • Maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures


Core Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Cisco networking (Catalyst, Nexus)
  • Expertise in routing & switching protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS
  • Hands-on with firewalls (Checkpoint), VPNs, and network security technologies
  • Experience with F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM)
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, QoS, multicast, and high-availability design (HSRP, VRRP, VPC)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, NetScout, SNMP, NetFlow, Splunk)
  • Experience with wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba)
  • Understanding of data center networking, segmentation, and SDN concepts


Certifications

CCNA / CCNP / CCDA / CCSP
