Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Microservices Architect with strong ServiceNow expertise to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role will architect scalable microservices ecosystems integrated with the ServiceNow platform to modernize workflows, automate operations, and deliver next-generation business services.
The ideal candidate combines deep architecture leadership, ServiceNow platform knowledge, Java/Spring Boot or Node.js microservices experience, API strategy, cloud-native engineering, and stakeholder leadership.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Architecture
- Architect and govern enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, CMDB.
- Design upgrade-safe, scalable, secure ServiceNow implementations.
- Lead custom application architecture using App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub.
- Define platform governance, development standards, release strategy, and roadmap.
Microservices Architecture
- Design distributed microservices-based solutions integrated with ServiceNow workflows.
- Define service boundaries, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and API-first standards.
- Build reusable business services for claims, HR, customer service, asset lifecycle, approvals, case management.
- Lead migration from monolithic systems to microservices ecosystems.
Integration Leadership
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Jira, Oracle, Azure AD, AWS systems.
- Design REST / SOAP / GraphQL APIs.
- Implement asynchronous integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Grid, SNS/SQS.
Cloud / DevOps
- Lead Kubernetes / Docker deployment models.
- Define CI/CD pipelines for platform + microservices releases.
- Establish observability, resilience, SRE, logging, tracing, security controls.
Leadership
- Lead engineering teams, developers, platform admins, and offshore teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews and executive solution presentations.
- Estimate effort, roadmap planning, risk mitigation, modernization strategy.
